I came into the kitchen the other day to find my son lining up cups of water.  I asked what he was doing and he informed me he was setting up a "Water Stand" in our house.   I asked how much he was charging for a cup of luke warm tap water.

$14.00, he replied.

Any takers?

  1. Tell him to try charging $13.99...the stores seem to think that the extra penny savings will get the products moving.

Oh~and that grin? So cute...does he take payment via pay pal since that's a little far away for me to drive for some water?

  4. Now if you can just get him to start selling stuff for real, and you can charge him tenents fees or something :-)

  6. I love the water cup display.

And conveniently placed in a high-traffic area where demand will certainly be greater. He's targeting a captive audience; a certain mom who spends a lot of time there (the way vendors overcharge at airport concourses) :)

  8. There were some kids in our neighborhood selling lemonade this summer. It was really cheap but I don't remember how much. Anyway, it was mostly lukewarm water with a squirt of lemon juice.
