Aren’t Clean Clothes Just a Little Over Rated?

In the midst of all the birthday party and Valentine’s day preparations and excitement, someone suffered from some severe neglect.

Excuse me while I attempt to make up with my overlooked and neglected washing machine.   If you don’t hear from me in awhile, look under the pile of clothes… I may have surrendered in defeat!

  1. Unfortunately that's what my bedroom usually looks like seeing as that's where all the clothes get dumped...clean or dirty.

  2. This could be my laundry room. I am scared to even enter. Lord have mercy.

You and I live parallel lives. It's a bit scary. (But, also very cool.) :)

  3. There's no end to my love of your dedication to clean laundry...or lack thereof. ;) I can only say that as someone who has equal dedication at times. Wish I were close enough to have a laundry folding party!!!

*And yes, they say, "Welcome to Moe's" out here too. Always a great feeling when I walk in for my guac and diet coke!

  5. That is EXACTLY what my bed looked like yesterday! I washed and switched clothes out all. day. long. and last night my sweet husband helped to fold everything up. Now, today's task is to actually put them away.

  9. Ha! We've all been there, haven't we? One thing that seriously helped our family was when I taught our boys how to sort their own clothes. Instead of one big laundry pile, I now have four baskets (one for whites/undies, one for lights, one for reds, and a BIG one for darks/towels). Instead of chucking their dirty clothes into a big pile, they sort them into the appropriate basket. They picked it up really easily. Now when I need to do laundry, it's already sorted and ready for me to pop in the washer. It also helps to see what's dirty -- if the undies basket is overflowing, that tells me that someone is going to run out of socks soon :D
